Addendum No. 1 Construction Divison, DoR, Thimphu would like to amend the following; <ol> <li>ITB Clause 40.1 & GCC Clause 51.1 (Mobilization Advance Payment)</li> </ol> For the Invitation Reference No. Tender:DoR/CD/28/2021-2022/058, Improvement of Bjena-Khotokha Road  Package  II from  Tashila to Shelly(Ch15.00-ch29.10=14.10 km) The error is corrected in ITB Clause 40.1 & in SCC, GCC Clause 51.1. Therefore, the prospective bidders are requested to take note of the addendum and they will form part of the bidding document.

	The Advance Payment shall be ten percent(10%) of contract price	The Advance Payment shall be limited to twenty percent (20%) of the Contract Price. The 20% Mobilization Advance (MA) shall be released phase wise upon fulfilling certain conditions by Contractor as stipulated below; The first 10% mobilization advance shall be released as was being currently practiced as per the requirement of Contract Agreement Document. The 2^nd installment of the mobilization advance (10%) shall only be sanctioned and released upon the submission of an unconditional Bank Guarantee of the equal amount from any of the Financial Institutes of Bhutan and upon production of documentary evidences for having utilized the first installment of MA solely for the project in terms of the materials procured or utilized on mobilization expenses. Before releasing the mobilization advance, the site engineer concerned shall verify and authenticate that the materials are procured and brought to Project site solely for utilization in the Project. Both the Bank Guarantees should be unconditional and shall remain valid till the advances are recovered in full. The recovery of MA shall be done in full before achieving 80% of physical progress.
